How can I enrol students in my course?

Currently, course enrollment is automatic, so there is no need to enroll students manually. However, if you want to manually enroll a student who is not enrolled in the course, there are two ways: the teacher can decide to let this student enroll in the course, or he/she can enroll him/her himself/herself. In the second case, the procedure is the one explained in the FAQ How can I enrol a new user in my course?
